Hello,
I just wanted to encourage you not to be afraid to start homeschooling! We’ve homeschooled for 17 years now, and I can vouch for the fact that it works.
Just make sure not to make it harder than it has to be, especially during the early years.
Many blessings on your homeschool journey,
Susan Lemons http://www.susanlemons.wordpress.com

Hey ya’ll! Wandered over here from Twitter, and as a fellow Southern Liver (NC) (which was by way of 34 years in Michigan, but raised right by VERY southern parents, so this is like coming home) am loving poking around your site.

Welcome…if you don’t mind a little craziness. Come back again….and again…and again. :)

Hey Y’all! LOVE reading your blog :0)
Just thought I’d mention a few things your kids will “miss out on” due to homeschooling:
bullies; peer pressure & head lice….
Good luck to you all!!!

Crystal,
I think I’ll add your comment to our Homeschooling page. I never thought of that. I will admit that head lice is one of my biggest fears in the whole world. Bullies? Well, I think each brother can be bullyish from time to time. Peer pressure? Negative on that one, too. Will gets a bad case of the “I want’s” after visiting a friend of his who has a mack Daddy playroom. I think the peer pressure to have a Nintendo DS won. Ha!
